Sean concentrates his practice on estate administration, estate planning and private foundation law and counsels clients on generational wealth transfer and family business succession plans. He advises boards of private foundations on best practices for corporate governance and tax exemption compliance and has served extensively on such boards and as a trustee of various charitable and family trusts.  Sean has served as a Trustee of the Union Foundation since 2002, the N.R. Leavitt Foundation since 2011 and the E.J. Grassmann Trust since 2013.  Sean formerly served as the Board President of the George Street Playhouse from 2005-2007, a Member of its Board of Trustees from 2003-2007, and presently serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees of The Raptor Trust.
